Why I Made This Blog

(UPDATE: Since I've posted this, I've come to the realization that, in the best interests of my mental health, I no longer want to be associated with homosexuality and will work towards leaving homosexuality behind, that said, this post came from a place of anger at myself and those who I felt were attempting to dictate my life. At this point, I have moved past that anger and internalized homophobia and now just accept that gay people come in all forms, and that most are positive, happy, normal people - with a few negative, hateful, and dysfunctional among them, just as in any given population, and that it was unfair of me to judge the entire population by their most radical and angry examples)

I realized there was no group online (that I could find) for dudes like me. I'm a homo, and the reason why I'm a homo is because I'm into dudes. I've tried to get into women, and it's not really working out.

So why do I say homo instead of gay? Well because gay comes with a lot of additional requirements, such as:

* You have to dress, act, and think a certain way, generally fairly effeminate
* You MUST be a liberal democrat
* You generally must be an atheist, or at least "spiritual" - no Christians or other theists allowed
* You must be a single issue voter (gay rights) and ignore all other issues
* You must go to gay clubs on a regular basis and gay annual events like Pride
* You have to defend the "gay community" from any attacks from the inside or outside for people pointing out stereotypes, meanwhile hypocritically reveling in those stereotypes yourself
* You must attack any homosexual that doesn't conform to these requirements and ostracize them to the point that they hate the "gay community" then blame them for not fitting in
* You must demand tolerance and acceptance from the general society while hypocritically attacking those who point out the racism, superficiality, and general nastiness of the "gay community" to its own members

If you fail to conform to those requirements, you're a "bad gay" and thus open to general vindictiveness from various factions within the "gay community"

I created this blog to allow other masculine non-conforming homosexuals to have a place to reach out to one another, vent their shared frustrations, and overall create a welcoming atmosphere for those who have no where else to go.

At times on this blog, I will be very blunt, offensive, or otherwise derogatory towards the "gay community". While I may say things that seem to promote violence, I am simply venting and do not advocate violence against anyone gay anywhere. Sure I hate them with a deep passion, but I'd rather avoid them than risk going to jail for a "hate crime".

As this is the first post, I would prefer everyone begin with this post or at least read it at some point before reading other posts in depth to better understand where I am coming from.

Thanks!
